Company History

Since 2011, Do It Right Roofing has been protecting the homes and businesses of the greater South Sound area with high-quality lifetime roofing systems. We are a licensed, bonded, and insured family-owned and operated business founded by father and son team Robert and Garrett Willey. Specializing in residential, commercial, and metal roof products, we install new roofs that protect our customers’ families and homes, keeping them safe and dry for 40 to 50 years or more.

As a Christian faith-based company and individuals, we strive for our faith and values to resonate with those that work with us. We believe that our work is our witness, representing Jesus Christ to the world around us, a value we feel is reflected in the integrity and quality of both our service and workmanship. Garrett Willey

Owner & President

Garrett is the Owner and President of Do It Right Roofing, driven by a passion for service and continuous improvement. With nearly a decade of experience in the construction industry, including roles as a General Contractor, Real Estate Investor, Electrical Contractor, and Home Inspector, Garrett leads his team with a commitment to integrity and excellence.

His “why” goes beyond roofing—Garrett finds fulfillment in mentoring others and making a positive impact on both his team and clients. He follows the principle of Kaizen, always working to improve systems, services, and relationships. Rooted in faith and strong values, Garrett ensures every project is done with care and lasting quality.

Outside of roofing, Garrett has served as an Executive Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves and a High School Teacher, adding to his diverse leadership background.

Angela Willey

Owner & VP Operations

Angela is the driving force behind Do It Right Roofing, bringing a blend of entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on expertise to her role as Owner and VP of Operations. With a background in business and a passion for quality service, Angela ensures every project is completed with precision and care, prioritizing the protection and satisfaction of each client’s home.

Beyond roofing, Angela is a dedicated entrepreneur with a love for wellness and holistic living. She’s also an independent distributor of Young Living Essential Oils, where she shares her passion for natural health solutions. Her multifaceted approach to business and life reflects her commitment to helping others in every way she can.

When she’s not running operations or exploring new business ventures, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and being an active part of the community. Her dedication to both her professional work and personal interests shines through in everything she does.

Alex Yupan

Executive Assistant

I consider myself very enthusiastic and solution-oriented, I bring creativity, energy, and a genuine passion for people to everything I do. I enjoy helping others, collaborating with teams, and finding innovative ways to make things run smoothly. Known for my easygoing nature and positive outlook, I thrive in collaborative environments where ideas and people grow together.

I like running, practicing Muay Thai, and getting lost in a good book. I’m also a curious traveler and I enjoy discovering new places and cultures. Most of all, I treasure time spent with my family, friends, and pets.

Gabriel Yep

Gabriel is a Civil Engineer by profession with experience across both the construction and mining industries. Through his career, he has worked alongside multidisciplinary teams, gaining broad exposure to different technical areas and project environments.

He is driven by a strong desire to keep learning and to explore new fields, believing that continuous growth comes from stepping outside of one’s comfort zone. He values teamwork and sees collaboration and synergy as the foundation of any successful and high-performing team.

Outside of his professional work, Gabriel enjoys traveling and is passionate about training and staying active, bringing the same discipline and commitment into both his personal and professional life.

Renzo Alcántara

I bring focus, composure, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction to my role as Project Manager at Do It Right Roofing. My goal is to ensure every project runs smoothly from start to finish, maintaining clear communication, reliable coordination, and attention to detail at every stage. I take pride in staying calm under pressure and helping my team remain confident and organized, even when challenges arise. What drives me most is seeing homeowners feel informed, respected, and completely satisfied with the final result.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading fantasy novels, playing video games, and traveling to discover new places. Exploring different environments inspires me and gives me fresh perspectives that I bring back to my work. These experiences — along with my creative interests — help me stay adaptable, thoughtful, and dedicated to building a positive and efficient environment at Do It Right Roofing.

My name is Brigitte, and I am the Phone Administrator at Do It Right Roofing.

I have a strong passion for traveling and extreme sports, as I believe these activities help build confidence and overcome challenges.

Marla is a proud Jamaican with a deep faith in Christ Jesus, which guides her every step in life. As a devoted mother of three, she is committed to providing her children with the opportunities and adventures she didn’t have, dreaming of traveling the world and exploring new experiences with them. Her spiritual journey is central to her life, and she eagerly anticipates the future that God has planned for her and her beautiful family.

Professionally, Marla is a registered travel agent and certified administrator, balancing her ambition with her love for family and faith. She is driven by a passion to fulfill her lifelong dream of running a business she envisioned as a child. Her kind, caring, and joyful nature shines through in everything she does, whether it’s in her work or in her interactions with others.

Beyond her professional life, Marla is passionate about cooking, singing, dancing, and helping those around her. At just 21, she has a natural affinity for connecting with others, driven by her family-oriented values and passion for serving people. Megan’s approach emphasizes ensuring that every customer feels heard, respected, and fully confident in the work being done. Her favorite part of the job is speaking with customers and making sure their needs are met with the highest level of care.

Outside of work, Megan is an outdoor enthusiast, embracing activities such as rock climbing, snowboarding, and hiking. During the off-season, she channels her creativity through sewing, knitting, and practicing yoga. Her active lifestyle and genuine love for people contribute to the warm, supportive environment she helps foster at Do It Right Roofing.
